I remember using gouache many moons ago whilst at college, we used it to paint very flat pattern designs. I bought a gouache paint set, looking for a process that was quicker to use (drying time) I must say I love working with it, the colour saturation is beautiful, it has been a challenge to paint in a different way than with oil paints. My subject matter has been my lovely Yorkshire, using reference from my many photographs I have taken over the years.
